SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Entry-level salary is approximately $45,689 or $23.43 an hour based on 1950 hours a year per 2017 contract.  Benefits include vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, uniform allowance, health and life insurance and Wisconsin retirement fund.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  Must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Wisconsin drivers license, possess an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or a minimum of 60 fully accredited college level credits; be certified or certifiable as a law enforcement officer at time of appointment (clearly indicate if, or when you will become certified or certifiable as a law enforcement officer by the State of Wisconsin); must meet other minimum recruitment standards of the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board; and good physical condition to perform essential job functions of a law enforcement officer.
