The City of Antigo will accept sealed proposals to construct two (2) commercial non-insulated maintenance storage buildings located at 1020 W. Pierce Ave.  Specifications include:

1. 2 ft. roof overhang
2. 3 ft. overhang on door side
3. The approximate dimensions of the buildings are 60 ft.    wide  x 120 ft. long
4. 16 ft. sidewalls
5. Three (3) 14’ x 14’ steel insulated overhead garage doors on sidewall
6. Three (3) garage door openers
7. Three (3) steel service doors located in sidewalls near overhead doors; locations to be determined by owner
8. Roof  loading of 60 lbs. minimum
9. Vapor barrier or foam insulation to prevent condensation in ceiling
10. Electrical for lighting and outlets to meet State Code
11. 6 inch minimum concrete capable of carrying 15 ton load
12. Include day lighting as an option 

Other requirements:

1. A minimum of ten(10) years’ experience building similar structures
2. List three(3) or more similar completed structures that can be viewed
3. Please provide estimated start and completion of building construction
4. Successful contractor will be required to submit state approved plans
5. Proposed method of payment

Proposals accepted until 3:00 pm  May 25^th , 2012   in the office of the City Clerk, 700 Edison St, Antigo, WI.  Please refer any questions to the PW-Street Dept – 715-623-4754.

Proposals will be opened and read at 8:30 am May 29^th, 2012  in the Public Works office, City Hall, 700 Edison St, Antigo, WI.

The City of Antigo reserves the right to negotiate conditions of the various proposals or reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed the most advantageous to the City.  All proposals must include the following: 

• The successful contractor must provide a minimum of l Million dollars general liability and motor vehicle insurance with the City of Antigo being listed as an additional insured.
• Builders risk insurance and Workers Compensation coverage as required by law.
