The City of Antigo Fire Department is a combination full-time, paid-on-call
Fire & Rescue Department. The makeup of the full-time staff includes the
Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Three (3) Lieutenants, Fifteen (15) firefighter/EMT
personnel and two (2) civilian Secretaries. Fifteen (15) personnel currently
staff the paid-on-call program. The department is broken down into three
(3) shifts of six personnel who work a twenty-four hour shift. A Lieutenant
and five (5) firefighter/EMT personnel staff each shift. The Administrative
Section (Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief and Secretary) of the department
works a forty-hour business type schedule.
