The Information & Communication Technology Department is dedicated to delivering the highest quality technology services in a cost-effective manner, aimed at enhancing internal support services, governance, and community service for the City of Antigo and its residents. This department will:
- Offer efficient technology and support for data, voice, and web-based applications and services across all areas of the City and for its citizens.
- Encourage and facilitate the seamless integration of technology into the core mission of the City of Antigo through planning, programming, training, consulting, and other support initiatives.
- Develop, enhance, and manage the City of Antigo’s enterprise network to ensure high-speed, transparent, and highly functional connectivity among all information resources.
- Support the collection, storage, security, and integrity of electronic data while ensuring appropriate access is maintained.
- Foster innovative uses of information technology within the City of Antigo’s infrastructure by supporting exploratory and groundbreaking applications.
- Provide leadership for effective strategic and tactical planning regarding technology utilization.
- Ensure fast and reliable access to all communications and technology systems.
- Maintain up-to-date web information for the City of Antigo.
